ScreenPitch is a desktop application that runs entirely on your computer. We are committed to protecting your privacy and being transparent about our data practices.

Data We Collect

License Validation

When you activate your license, we collect:

• Your license key
• A machine identifier (to prevent key sharing)

This data is processed through Dodo Payments for license verification.

What We Do NOT Collect

• Your screen recordings stay entirely on your computer
• No analytics or usage tracking
• No telemetry data
• No personal information beyond license activation

Third-Party Services

Dodo Payments: We use Dodo Payments to process purchases and validate licenses. Their privacy policy governs payment data handling. We do not store your payment information.

GitHub Releases: The app checks for updates via GitHub. This may transmit your IP address to GitHub's servers.

Data Storage

All recordings, projects, and exports are stored locally on your device. We have no access to your content.

Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Request deletion of your license activation data
• Know what data we hold about you
• Opt out of update checks (via settings)

Children's Privacy

ScreenPitch is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy periodically. We will notify users of significant changes through the application or our website.
